There was a time in old world France when nearly every family farm had a brewery. A necessary part of farm life was to provide a ration of beer to laborers, as beer was safer to drink than the water of the time. Farm Hand is our interpretation of what these rustic beers must have been like. It is slight in body, mildly sweet, and has a slight cloudiness from the simple un - malted grains similar to the period. Farm Hand is our flagship beer. Contemplation is a fan and brewer favorite. A golden honey ale brewed in a Belgian style and utilizing Michigan Wildflower Honey. This traditional beer is dry with beautiful fruity esters as well as just the tiniest pinch of clove/black pepper spiciness. Each year we love to see how subtle changes to the honey we use affects the soft floral aromatics in this exceptional beer. 7.2% ABV
